  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a common occurrence for the 2021 GV80 EVAP CORE Assembly to go "bad"? If so, what's the best way to get it covered under warranty?

Should I pay out of pocket or us there another solution/strategy?

Since you have a 2021, most likely you would be in the 5/50 warranty. Unless you bought it in 2020. More information needed on that.
What has the dealer said?

Sadly, it is not uncommon for Genesis evaporators to develop a leak.

Welcome. Just noting that this topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the Genesis GV80 forum...

My 21 was replaced this past summer under warranty with no issues. I just hope they improved the design of the replacement ones so it does not happen again, Next time it will be my dollar if I keep the car.
