2021 GV80 Prestige – Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement Advice?

I have a 2021 GV80 Prestige with 56,000 miles, and it’s time to replace the brake pads and rotors. My mechanic priced out both OEM and aftermarket options. The aftermarket setup would save me about $1,000, but he warned me that he recently installed similar aftermarket parts on a G70 and the rotors warped after about 10,000 miles.

Has anyone had good long-term results with aftermarket brake pads and rotors on a GV80 (or any Genesis models)? If so, which brands have worked well for you?

Here are the costs I was quoted:

OEM Genesis Parts:

• Front: $1,400
• Rear: $1,100

Aftermarket Parts:

• Front: $890
• Rear: $770
