Ha! Exactly what I wrote on the Youtube video comments. An ECU tune on the other hand would match things up pretty well on the dig.Not too surprising tbh. The G70 is held back by its torque limitation from a dig and the B58 has legs up top. I would expect a JB4 to match the 340i from a roll, but still lag on a dig.
Cool, though honestly it looks like the M340I beats the stock G70 by more than this simulation would indicate. This is a fun exercise. It actually shows the Genesis performing more or less the same as the video, and this site doesn't consider 1st gear torque limitations I don't think.
6 cars to be specific lolCool, though honestly it looks like the M340I beats the stock G70 by more than this simulation would indicate.
Exactly, Genesis is doing everything to protect that 10 year/100k mile warranty. Little to no boost in the cylinders when setting up launch and TCU & ECU logic is programed to ease into acceleration. All in effort to reduce gear shock and initial powertrain torque output. The full unhinged version of the 3.3T would probably do well by itself against the M340i, however I'm not sure how long the trans or drive shaft would hold up against the full brunt of the 3.3T. The early revisions of the R35 GTR had similar issues keeping up with the massive torque down low in the RPM range.Engine isn't the issue. It's the programming of the ECU and TCU. The 3.3T is more that capable.
