  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How do I make my sound system exceed volume 45? The volume is not loud enough

Check your sound settings and look at where you have your mid range and try increasing it. Other than this I know of no other way to actually increase the volume.
At 45 the volume should be blasting. You may need to take the car in and see if there is an issues with the radio or amplifier.

I agree with this. I usually can't listen above 30 unless I'm really headbanging. \m/ 45 should be very loud. Amp fuse maybe?

In my opinion, the Lexicon sound system is "okay". I have a 2023 G70.
I optioned the upgraded Alpine stereo system in my Ram truck and that seemed to be way louder and sound way better.

Maybe I'm missing a setting that should be selected?
I'll have to mess around with it some day.

I bought the car brand new. All I did was add 2 JL Audio 12 “ subs and 1 JL Audio RD1000/1 amp 2 power the subs. I did this b cause there wasn’t enough low end bass. The equipment was professionally installed. The factory system was never loud 2 begin with. Where other cars go 2 volume 100, my volume at 45 sounds like it’s at 25 - 30 when compared 2 the car with the volume at 100.

I bought my '23 with old software (still with radio 'nixie' tubes), and after updating the software, immediately noticed the volume was WAY lower than it used to be. So Genesis neutered the volume for some reason. Guess to avoid blowing speakers? But yes, before at like 10, it used to be all I needed. Now I need like 20 for the same volume. Don't need much more than that, so not a big deal for me, but I didn't know they could neuter the stereo thru a software update, but guess was wrong about that. Ha ha.

Worth noting a well that sometimes the unit needs to be reset. That can be done by inserting a pen tip into the hole to the left of the volume knob and holding it for 5 seconds. My 2023 needed that right when I bought it. The change in sound wasn't small in my case.
