  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Where is more information about the 2022 G70 in this forum??

I already looked on YOUTUBE and know about Asian Petrol.

Yep there is not much out there yet on the new 2022 G70. Car and Driver has some pictures on their web-site but the review is for the last model. I thought it would be out by now but like everything else COVID has probably slowed down the process. Bummer.

Car and driver said that the front end will look like the G80, and the 2.0L turbo will be dropped, and replaced by a 2.5L turbo from the G80 and 2021 Sonata.....either 290 or 300 horsepower.......The V6 turbo will stay the same........PS.........No more manual trans..........All auto.

Do a search for "G70" or "2021 G70" or "2022 G70" on YouTube. There are several videos in addition to Asian Petrolhead's. You can also have a look at the Korean Genesis website.

Here in the U.S., the 2021 G70 is not the facelifted model that's already available in S. Korea and shows as a 2021 model on the build website above. That car won't be here until later this year (maybe about mid-year) as a 2022.

I recently heard March or April. I guess we'll have to wait to see if that happens.

Id put my money down for Sept 2021. Just going off the wait I had to endure for the G70 originally, they arent very fast at getting them to the states

I wonder if the 2022 will have the blind spot camera from the Sonata Limited and the G80 Prestige? (digital gauges)

I'm quite sure it will — digital gauges + blind spot camera view on turn signal activation.

It's coming in the summertime. You can sign for updates on the Genesis site.

There's a ton of reviews and 'first looks' of the 2022 G70 on youtube. I'm looking at them right now. Example - CarScene Korea:

Yeah I've seen this review before I looked at just about every 2022 G70 and GV70 video on YouTube.
