Same ones as the GV70, which use the same platform, so 2.5T and 3.5T, both with dual injection, and more efficient. But G80 and GV80 use the same engines too, due to just being an extended platform. At any rate, I have my doubts that Hyundai (or Genesis) will bring a new G70 version, due to declining sedan sales, but if they do, hope it's not with the same old man feel as the G80 and GV70, starting with that hideous steering wheel. We'll see, I guess.

The Stinger is almost the same thing as the G70 (just 6" longer), so if that's the case, then my suspicions are most likely right. I also agree Genesis will start electrifying its fleet as well. Hope to get one, since I'll have to undo the deal on mine tomorrowJust like the Kia EV6GT is replacing the Stinger. ICE is out.
I never doubted that; it's a very costly step to take, since once the initial investment is fully amortized by the 3rd or so year, vehicle becomes more profitable for the automaker. The only reason a factory would kill a car within its regular life-cycle is absolutely dismal sales. So vehicles are typically killed at the end of their cycles. As far back as 2020, rumors ran rampant that there will be no 2022 mid-cycle refresh.
