Been noticing that my car burns oil intermittently and will notice a random small puff when I slow down or sit at a red light. Doesn't appear to burn oil any other points, just randomly and a small puff. Could be 20-60 mins with nothing between each time. Other running conditions there is no oil smoke or smell of it. Cold start and idling long after with nothing. No loss of power at all, doesnt make it do more or less with driving styles... I am guessing maybe PCV related?!?! Dealership looked at it today and claim it is scoring in the cylinder, but I would think it would be burning all the time if that were to be the case? Low mileage and barely a year old I hope it is not a huge issue with the car barely at 40k kms.
