  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Basically IAM in the market for a 2023+ g90 cpo. I love everything the e-Sc adds except the air suspension, so when it brakes like it always does I would like to see what's out there. My mother had a Lexus LS that had air suspension and she had to get it replaced like 4 times. Not sure if technology improved where they reliable but I won't get my hopes up.

Also does anyone have a high mileage 2023+ g90? I would love to know about your repair and maintenance history with the car

I'd imagine mechanically, the coil suspension from the base model will bolt up just fine. Your problem will be the electronics. You'll get all kinds of warning lights and chimes about a failed air suspension unless you code the air suspension out of the system. Might also need a different suspension controller out of a base car for the ride modes to work with the replacement electronic struts/shocks. You'd need to code in the spring suspension and probably also program the content theft detection. These cars are not hacked like BMWs, which means you won't be able to code it yourself without extremely expensive typically dealer-only equipment and a subscription. Not even sure if dealer equipment would allow you to code in options that didn't come on the car, meaning it might ask for a VIN and knows what options the car is supposed to have. It might be possible if the height sensor isn't connected to CANBUS or some kind of bus, that there's a way to trick the suspension controller into thinking everything is fine, but almost every part is networked these days.
