  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2023 Genesis G90

Just noticed that the rear entertainment screens are no longer available. I wonder why.

Good deals now on 22s I'm sure!
I hope so and I may go that route although I am not that interested in the outgoing design. Had 2017 and was looking for the newer generation. The interior and functionality is pretty much the same for the 17 and 22MY.

Cant compare your 17, but my 21 is the best car I have ever owned. And I thought my former 20 G80 Sport was the best. I happily stand corrected.

If that’s the case, it’s Because the US market likes to drive their cars, not be driven in. I think Hyundai knows this.

It doesn't make much sense though because the center console controls were designed specifically for the rear screens like the KDM model. In fact reading through some reviews, apparently the passenger console controls are for the driver's infotainment screen? Really bad idea, and a strange oversight when pretty much every other car in the class offers rear screens.

Here's the full spec/feature sheet from the Genesis site- very bizarre that the HUD is an option on the top-of-the-line supercharged model but standard on the base model.

I agree, maybe it's only emitted for US pre-production models? I dunno.

Thanks for this!

I don’t think that is true. From their press release:
G90 3.5T AWD w/ 48V e-Supercharger
MSRP: $98,700
(excluding $1,095 freight)
INCLUDES 3.5T AWD STANDARD EQUIPMENT PLUS THE FOLLOWING: …

This is from their official spec sheet. Unless they made an error, this looks very deliberate.

Try building the G90 e-SE on the Genesis site. The only choice is the standard package an it includes the HUD.

Disappointed in the huge price hike. An Audi A8L similarly equipped comes in at the same price. I think Genesis, while trying to assert itself as a "legitimate" luxury brand may have overshot the mark on this one by about $5-7000. I think most buyers of luxury cars would take the Audi (even though it's terribly boring looking).

Having said that, I do feel like Genesis is true luxury, if not better luxury. But sadly, I was hoping the pricing would stay super-competitive.

Undecided on if I will cancel my Priority One deposit until I see lease numbers.

FYI: Some interesting reviews.
