2025 GV80 Coupe Remote Climate Start - No Seat Options?

I just purchased a 2025 GV80 Coupe and have noticed that the remote climate start options are much different than my previous car, a 2021 G80. There isn't an option to activate seat heating or cooling. Is this something unique to the 2025 models or the Coupe, or is this just a limitation of all GV80s?

It looks like all of the arrows to the right on yours are dimmed, so are you even able to get to the next screen of settings for each Preset? If not, how would you adjust the temp from HI or LO, or turn on/off the defrosters? If nothing can be adjusted, then why are Presets 3 and 4 exactly the same? It doesn’t make sense.
I'd try reinstalling the App again. I'd contact Connected Services if it's the same afterwards.

I am able to set the preferences on the next screen, but there aren't any seat options. It looks like you have a GV70 and not a GV80 so i'm not certain this isn't a GV80 only issue. Or even a 2025 specific GV80 issue. But I'll try to reach out to connected services and see if they can answer any questions about it.

I have a 24 Prestige, and it has the seat temperature option, , 3 stages. I use it everyday.

My 2023 3.5 Advanced has the seat controls too. Definitely interested in someone with a non-coupe 2025 GV80 chiming in.

I tried contacting Genesis connected services through the online portal. The response I received back via email was pretty generic. It told me how to activate the climate presets in the app. And then then they closed with: "If you do not see this option listed your vehicle is not equipped with this feature."

I then called the Connected Services phone number and actually spoke to someone. That wasn't very helpful. The person looked up my VIN to figure out the package that I have. But couldn't figure it out. I told her the Coupes don't have packages. They are all the highest package. There is only an engine option.

So I have a theory: This is probably only a GV80 Coupe issue because the Connected Services can't properly identify it yet.

I put a call in to my Genesis dealer and they are going to investigate the issue. Hopefully that will involve seeing if this is a problem on regular 2025 GV80s too and other Coupes.

The dealer confirmed with me today that another 2025 GV80 Coupe buyer could not access the seat temperatures remotely. He's going to followup with his service department about the issue and see if the issues exists on the normal 2025 GV80.

I have a GV80 Coupe and am able to configure the seats when remote starting as pictured above. Is there a software version we could compare maybe? I'm using the Android app. Version 3.1.4.

I'm in the US. You in Canada perhaps? Not sure what other variables to consider!

Well this is incredible. 4 hours ago I used the remote climate start and the seat option wasn't available. Just now I went into my iphone app to confirm the app version number, and the seat option is now available!

Perhaps someone at Connected Services finally looked into the issue for me. But whatever it was, I'm a happy camper now. Thanks everyone for the information on this thread, I'm sure it helped the cause.
