  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just OTA had an map update JW.USA.ccIC.001.0015.250814.After it was done it said I needed to do an Entertainment update which I did . I don’t seen any major changes. iOS this the update that was delayed since 4/25 or is that still coming

Same for me. Don’t see any major change. I’m hoping it will fix a glitch in the Audacy iOS app.

from https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11023693-0001.pdf - all seems pretty minimal

- Apply Real-time Vehicle Status (MQTT) for GEN2 Connected Car Services (CCS)
- In-Vehicle Activation (IVA) applied for Genesis Connected Services (GCS) enrollment via head unit and QR Code
- Display a revised notification on the AVN prior to the application of Over-the-Air (OTA) and USB updates
- Add a Charging Filter Setting button on the Route Options screen after setting the destination
- Add common nicknames to dummy phonebook data to guide the call initiation scenario for cases like “Mom” and “Daddy”
- Change the Phone Projection Icon Image on the Home Screen
- Address behavior of programming Odometer with GDS tool resulting in the recorded value being in kilometers
- Improved AVN boot time after reset

Two days ago, my vehicle gave me notification that an OTA download was in progress. I allowed that to complete, then followed the instructions to install the update. Unfortunately, the installation of the OTA package failed, and I haven't received any further notifications. So I suppose I will wait to see if the OTA restarts on the 15th, or if I will need to manually install it via the web download and USB stick.

I allowed my (CPO) OTA map updates subscription to expire. Figured I'm probably going to do manually anyways, so what does this actually get me? (shrug)

Anyone else having issues with navigation after this?

My GV60 does not do EV route planning anymore and just does standard route planning. It does not give arrival percentage or allow for recommending EV charging stops by default. I can search manually for them still though.

Figures the "Smart Support" bug is still not fixed after years of not working.

Curiously my bass, mid and treble sound settings 'reversed' following this update. I now have to turn them down to turn them up. Very weird. It took a while to work out why bass was increasing the more I turned it down.

Admittedly very minor, and not relevant to iPhone people, but this most recent navigation OTA update fixed my issue with the dash screen map background not matching the main map screen background color. Before, when my dash was on the map while using Android Auto, the background would always be black no matter if it was day or night. The main map changed background colors correctly depending on day or night. Now, both maps' background color matches to the time of day so I'd count that as a small win.20251022_081555(1).webp

I will have to test this and see if the same happens for me.

Actually, I think the driver's display now matching the center display was in fact an Android Auto /Google maps update. Because that happened for me and others a few weeks ago. You probably just coincidentally got it with the Genesis update.

Ah good to know. That was annoying me for the longest time during the day time.

The Canadian update just dropped in November 11. The only thing I’ve noticed so far is that the battery level icon is different.
