  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2026 GV60s starting to appear in inventory

one of the flagship features that drew me to the gv60 was the face connect. I don't consider it something I'd use every day, but would come in handy a couple of times a month.
I use the FaceID and fingerprint almost exclusively - and would miss it greatly. However, would this be an inflection-point for my car decision? No - it's incredibly convenient, but it's not enough to swing my decision on buying/not buying the car. But yeah - would miss it quite a bit.

You're very lucky the fingerprint works well for you. I have had the car for a little over 3 years and the fingerprint never really worked for me. To me it's a gimmick. I always have my key fob with me. I would not miss it if they got rid of it.

I'm wondering if they've decided to forgo the face connect for regions that have the digital key? Certainly not quite the same, but I almost always have my phone on me. Though the Digital Key isn't available here in Canada - at least not on my 2024. As a result I do usually have the actual fob on me. I use the fingerprint reader more to make sure I get my profile and seat position instead of my wife's.
i keep telling myself, "well at least it'll work with your apple watch". it was suuuuch a cool feature that I was looking forward to. so yea, im disappointed a bit, but might still buy the 2026.

We purchased a GV60 Advanced, MSRP $61,000 and the dealer made us a great deal on a 33 month lease.
The dealer had a total incentive promotion of $14,000, off of the capitalized price. incentive of $14,000. The $7,500 EV tax incentive was built-in to the $14,000 discount as part of the lease promotion. This car was shipped and stored at the port before the tariffs took effect.
thanks for the clarification. im not against leasing if the deal at my local dealers are right.

I did not see a post on this - The 2026's are up on the Genesis website

I have a 2023 Performance. However I had never thought of it as a true "performance" vehicle. If you really want a performance GV60 you may consider waiting a little longer for the GV60 High Performance Magma model to finally come out. From what I heard this model was flexing its power and handling on the Nurburging race track in Germany. It may be in the low to mid $70k's.

I looked at the features on the 2026 Advanced vs Performance. I'm disappointed.

In my opinion, the Advanced should come with all the bells and whistles including the HUD, digital mirror, active noise, laminated glass all around, etc. I even wish I could get the 19" wheels for a better ride and more range.

The only add ons that the performance should add are those related to, you know, performance. Handling, speed, acceleration, etc. Give it the bigger front motor, the boost button, the bigger wheels, active suspension, drift mode, simulated shifting, stuff like that.

I don't care about 0-60 in under 4 seconds. I don't plan to use it in a road rally through the mountains. I just want a quiet, comfortable, car with all the convenience features. Hopefully, Genesis reads these type of comments and takes them into consideration.

I understand what you are saying. During the 2023 model year they only had two trim levels the Advance and Performance. I see now that they have four trim levels the RWD, AWD, Advance and Performance. It appears they did it to offer more price points and if you want certain features they "make" you move up a trim level. It would be nice if you just wanted to add specific extra options to a car without moving up to the next trim level, but I think all car manufactures do it this way. For me the HUD is very important. All my future cars will need to have this option. For my situation, I was going to get the Advance model, but there were extra features the Performance had and I had considered if it was worth paying additional $$$ to move up to the Performance even though the Advance had plenty of power and comfort. For everyday driving, I drive in the "Comfort Mode" as I drive kind of slow. I I've had the Performance now for a little over 3 years and I'm glad I spent the extra $$$ for the extra comfort upgrades. However I do understand that everyone's situation is different.

💯

Looks like more incentive to hang on to my 2024 Advanced longer. Which I was probably going to do anyway, but now I've got even more reason to do so.

The GV60P is already in low $70ks. I would think the Magma would be $80k+

It would be a great deal to get it in the low to mid 70's. I found this on a dealer website (Genesis of Noblesville, IN). " While details on the Magma are sparse, we do know the model's starting price. Currently, Genesis has the model set at around $74,000. Given the current GV60 Performance trim starts at $70,900, we suspect the GV60 Magma has a price increase to the mid-$70,000 range. Although, it could be higher if the performance model of the GV60 remains in production alongside the new Magma." I think you're right that it would have to be closer to the $80's if the Performance model is still in the $70's. The Magma may become the true GV60 Performance model.
