  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What am I missing here? New, on the lot...has the copper accents in headlight bezel indicating sport package, but no brembos?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You sure it was a 3.3? I believe the 2.0 sport looks similar to 3.3 but doesn't have Brembo's.

^This.

DOH! I guess I didn't research all the trims well enough. I assumed the packages were the same between the two engines.

interesting. another difference between US and CAD specs. the CAD 2.0T Sport looks identical inside and out to the 3.3T Sport (except for the exhaust outlets of course), including the brembos.

from the website, which lists the Sport Appearance Package as being identical between 2.0 and 3.3 Sports:

- Brembo® braking system
  • *Sport Appearance Package includes:
  • Sport 19" aluminum alloy wheels with 225/40R19 (F) + P255/35R19 (R) Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 high-performance summer tires
  • Dark chrome exterior accents and lower front bumper insert
  • Dark-finish taillight lenses
  • Black headlight housings with copper accents
  • Sport-type quilted Nappa leather seating
  • Red or grey interior contrast stitching
  • 16-way power-adjustable driver's seat, including thigh extension and side bolsters
  • Black microfibre suede headliner
  • Alloy pedals

I didn't realize this either until I got a 2.0 Sport as a loaner and thought to myself that the brakes felt different. When I got out of the car I took it a look, and to my surprise, no Brembos.

Off the main subject but I dont feel like searching...but what is genesis' definition of dark taillight lenses? Because I read that on the US version, though it says dark tinted or something like that and I would hardly say they are tinted. @Toddasaurus even added film to his to darken them up...which shouldn't be needed if they were noticeably tinted from factory. I know they will follow the law out of factory but if the law suggests you can only tint it as far as they claim they did, it doesn't seem worthy of even advertising since it is almost non existent. I havent compared the non tinted and tinted trims but I was disappointed needless to say.
