In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hey guys, I own a 2016 3.8 awd genesis with OEM 18s installed. I have purchased a set of the OEM 5.0 19" staggered wheels to install. Will I have any issues running this staggered set on the AWD? I'm assuming I just can't rotate them at all but anything else?

Has anyone installed the 5.0 19s on their 3.8 AWD? I would like them to sit pretty flush with the fenders, do these sit more flush than the 18s? Anyone ever use spacers to adjust the offset slightly?

Thank you everyone in advance.

Stephen

Thank you, do those numbers seem reasonable? I really don't know how offset and poke calculations translate to looks to be honest. I don't want to buy TPMS, tires, and pay for install etc to see if they look alright. What are your thoughts? Any photos of this setup on a 3.8 AWD from the forum? Much appreciated

I don't think if you can find any pictures of this exact setup, even if you do, you won't see any difference, except if stay behind the car, you'd notice the rear tires are much wider than before.
I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems with fitting them in on your car. I have 10.5 with 285/ and I don't rub at all.

You can see on those pictures below how they gonna look - Front, Rear and rear on my car.

The key with AWD is to keep the diameter the same. The 19" wheels should be close enough that the AWD system should function properly, I think.

He's getting an OEM wheels, as long as they come with original tires, he'll be OK..... (front) 245/40R19 and (rear) 275/35R19

They do not come with tires. Is this the tire size I need to run to avoid issues? All I'm doing is putting the OEM rwd genesis 19s on my awd, I can't imagine I'm the first to do this.

If those wheels are staggered OEM off 5.0 , than correct tires size is (front) 245/40R19 and (rear) 275/35R19

Ok, thank you for the help. What is the 'poke' on your setup out of curiosity?

According to www.willtheyfit.com online calculator, the front wheels will poke ~6.3mm and the rear 3.7mm

You can change those numbers then hit "Calculate" button.

front http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...2=40&wheel_size=19&wheel_width=8-5&offset2=40

rear http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...ct2=35&wheel_size=19&wheel_width=9&offset2=49
I just got a pair of vossen rims and tires there 275 35 20 I know they fit the back wondering if I get spacers if I can use the 275 35 20 in front on 2015 awd genesis 3.8 or does it have to have a staggered set up with fronts being like a 245 30 20 .. I’m thinking the 20x 10.5 is too wide for front tires any opinions should I try spacers and wide fronts and backs or keep the standard width and just get two new rim and tires for front

I own a 2015 3.8 AWD Ultimate Package and I upgraded my 18" wheels to the 19" oem staggered 5.0 wheels powder coated gloss black and purchased a set of Continental tires. I had them installed at a local tire store wheels balanced and a wheel alignment. I haven't had any issues thus far and the ride and handling has improved. I hope this helps.

I'd stick with stagger setup, no need to run 275's in front. A 10.5 et45 in the back are perfect with front 9-9.5 et32-35, pretty much flushed with fenders.
My setup below; 20x9 et32 and 10.5 et45
