I just leased a 2010 3.8 and I am not overly impressed with the factory sound system. At low volume the subwoofer is basically inaudible, most aftermarket systems have a "loudness" setting to compensate for this but I don't see any way to adjust for this other than pushing the bass setting way up, but then you have to bring it back down when you decide to crank up the volume.
I am a discerning audiophile type and built a complete custom system in my previous car and I don't expect this stock system to compare to that. But I am a bit disappointed that the factory system in my Honda Ridgeline sounds better than this one.
Has anyone done any tweaking like changing out the factory sub without changing the factory amp etc?
