  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Remnant Performance in the Raleigh area of North Carolina is looking for a 3.8L owner to donate their car and their time to R&D a turbo kit for the Genesis Sedan, with plans to produce and sell it going forward.

They are chiefly looking for a BH 3.8L GDI Genesis Sedan, but will also look at BH 3.8L MPI and DH 3.8L GDI Sedans.

They have recently produced a turbo kit for the Genesis Coupe 3.8 GDI, which made 402 RWHP and 368 RWTQ at 6 PSI with their top mount ON3Performance 70mm turbo (0.70 A/R compressor, 0.68 A/R T4 turbine), custom intercooler, oil cooler, etc.

Remnant Performance is also an authorized AlphaSpeed dealer, AlphaSpeed has been providing remote Haltech tunes and stock ECU tunes to the Genesis Coupe community for years. They are able to tune the Genesis Sedan 3.8 as well.

Let me know if you are interested/able to donate your vehicle and time to this cause and I can put you in touch with Alec.

Hello There,
I have a 2013 3.8 Genesis Sedan. It is in the Atlanta area. I am interested. Who do I talk to for details?

Old thread but I'm looking at trying a similar route this summer, how did that project end up?

They ended up giving out free turbo kits to whomever emailed them.
