  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Did anybody tried to attach a steering wheel winged emblem over letter "H" on the 18" wheel? Will this work?

Yes they have DS 3M tape. Once you get them flat...which is no big deal.. they fit perfectly on the centers.

How can I get them flat? What material they are made of?

They are stickers...all you need is a simple household dough rolling pin. start on one end and slowly roll back and forth till flat. It's no big deal.

Just ordered the set. Will see...

I have no experience using the "rolled out flat" coupe stickers... but did find a video of such said stickers:

It looks like these are all black with flat, silver wings.

In my opinion, the ~$200 emblems look better... with the "stitched gray" background, raised wings, and black (dark blue?) genesis logo in middle.

It's why they cost $200+ !

Just to let some people know about the confusion about V-8 caps. The center caps that I offer for $120 are not plastic stick-on units to go over the big (H), they are aluminum units colored "stitched gray" background, raised wings, and black with the genesis logo in middle fitted into the V-8 caps grooves. :)

i am still torn on the look. SOme days I say order them, other day's not so much. I jsut need to go ahead and order a set and if I don't like 'em sell them on ebay

The winged V8 center caps are made of aluminum not the black plastic 3M stick on sold from SFR; they will fly off when you hit a bump/pothole especially if the cap has a film on it when applying it then combin it with brake heat (brake dust plays hell on the wheels). Basically the factory does not have enough requirements to make a line of wing V8 caps, so the aftermarket does and that's why they are expensive. If you screw up and scratch a V-8 cap modifying it with the 17" plastic set, your out $80 for a new replacement cap and a 17" center unit, unless you like scatches or gouges. The ones I do for some people does sound odd, because I ask you to mail your caps to me and I take them to the plant here in Korea (I'm stationed here in the military). A Korean friend that operates the machines there replaces them with winged aluminum ones. I pay for the parts, labor, shipping, and charge only $125 or $135 with a hood & trunk wingset. I only ask that you send me your caps and I return yours completed. I've done this for other members.

And I am anxiously waiting for mine that's been shipped....

Lots of e-mails with answered questions and quick service and turnaround.

Waiting for mine.

On my 2010, 19" wheels, I thought the caps would fit, as it turns out, they are not caps..but stickers...so now I have caps and NEED stickers. Anybody know where I can get them? And...anyone need a new set of caps?

19'" wheels? Do you mean 18"? are you referring to the winged center caps? If so I may be interested, could you post a pic of the cap?

Thanks.
