I still prefer the stock silence or any degree of openness from slight to have a little growl to wide open and what's essentially an open header though

cutouts really are the best of both worlds but this is a good option as well.

Definitely has drone the way i have it set up. I LOVE the sound that comes out of the ass, I just need to do something about the drone on the inside. Since its temporary for me until I get the ARK set up, I left the stock tips. The pipes end right before the tips so i am getting rebound noise off the inside of the bumper. If your plan is to do a muffler delete I would suggest extending the piping just past the bumper and you can also add a X pipe. For now I am 100% paddle shifting (always fun with an 8 speed)

That sounds great! I've done muffler deletes on the turbo cars I've tracked, and have always loved the noise. This sounds pretty tolerable for a DD though, and that sound is great. Maybe even AMG-like a bit

1. Infinitewerks 3 piece wheels.
2. ARK is test fitting for a 3.8 right now. The only released kits I know if right now are the Magnaflow and Flowmaster. Other than that you are buying mufflers and having a shop weld them up for u.

Thank you for the quick response. I'll do some research. Admittedly, I am not very familiar with changing the exhaust system. I just know the car needs a little more grow. Yours is amazing.

Oh man, last time I talked to ARK they told me that they start with the 5.0 and then will work on the 3.8. Oh man I might have to start sweet talking to my wife now so she won't be mad when they release it.

Lol, thats the complete oposite of what they told me last month. Im not going to hold my breath for it being released anytime soon

My Genesis is supposed to be the donor car for Arks's exhaust for the 3.8. They are still working on other cars at the moment and have not taken my car in yet. I have been told they will work on the 5.0 and 3.8 simultaneously to keep the builds similar. However, their 5.0 (AR550) is in the body shop at this time and is not available quite yet so I am still waiting on the sidelines for forward progress.

Long story short: Ark's Genesis exhaust build currently on hold pending return of AR550 from the body shop.

Sounds much more refined than that IMO.

Videos of pulls or flybys would be great. Also, partial throttle driving. I absolutely loved an Audi I had (GT3071R, cams, water meth, 3.5" straight pipe) running on the highway at cruising throttle. Even better when there was a concrete divider/wall next to my lane 75mph and beautiful sound

@huddleston - do you have any flyby vids? ARK exhausts, if it'll be made for the Genesis...will be upwards of $1000+. If a custom exhaust is cheaper and provides the same results...could be a better alternative.

I've that them up multiple times and they keep saying they don't have any dates for when they are going to start exhaust work for the Genesis! They have other cars in line they are working on. It sounds like maybe towards the end of the year for them.

Do feel like you lost any low end torque? With my Genesis 4.6 muffler delete I feel like I lost a little bit. Could be in my head though.
