5.0 rspec transmission

Hello,
I recently bought a 2013 rspec. I noticed that the downshifts are pretty slow.
If I dont have the car in tiptronic mode, it wont shift fast and feels slow.
Does anyone know what can be done to make the car more responsive.
I also notice that if I just step on the gas from a full stop. The tires spin, even with new tires.
It accelerates fast, but then in second gear it hits the redline goes back down to 5000 before it shifts to 3rd.
This does not happen if I have it in tiptronic.

They made this car for grannies. The pedal barely does anything unless you really step on it. What I've done in mine is purchase a Sprint Booster which is a signal booster for your gas pedal. It amplifies the sensitivity of the pedal so now I barely have to push it at all and it goes. I can get much faster response by mashing the pedal. Although the real problem is the limitations they put on the transmission to make it last to their 100k mile proposed warranty. You can set your own sensitivity settings on a 1-9 scale in either green mode or red mode. Green mode is conservative and maxing that out gives you a decent response on the pedal but personally I have it set to red(sporty) and setting 9... in other words its maxed out. I barely get any delays from pressing the pedal and barely have to gas it to move or pass.

If you put the pedal down very far at all and turn the wheel at the same time...the electronics will kill the power even if you have tire grip at that time.
It is smart honestly because if you do turn off the traction and ESC and try the same maneuver - you will turn your back tires into smoke immediately
Congrats on the vehicle! It is really awesome once you learn how it really works.
remember, we have 420+ HP in a sedan! Very uncommon and therefore I really think Hyundai did a great job with the electronics controlling this beast!
