A/C issue

Hi,
Today I had issue with a/c , hot air coming from the driver side and cold from the other side.
What could be the problem? And how to fix it please?

Since you have a 2023 it should still be in warranty. The fix is to take it to the dealer.

Chances are, the dampers are not operating properly. Had that happen on another car about 10 years ago. My fix was to sell the car "as is"

The dealer refuse to fix it or even check it because I bought this car not from the dealer in my country !!

Yes, you hurt his feelings. I have no ide how the warranty system works internationally but you may want to contact Genesis to find out.

I did, they said this system mostly in middle east countries !

Yep, sounds like a blend door. Since it is separating the left and right sides, it is probably in the center part of your dash, probably not easy to get to. Most of the blend door actuators I have seen, all look similar. It is probably the plastic gear that has lost a few teeth. Newer, updated replacement versions (for other car brands) use metal gears now.

Of course it can be fixed. The only questions are how much will it cost, how long will it take, and where to get it fixed...

Wow, today the same thing happened on 22 S_P 3.5. Cold on the passenger side and hot for the driver.

Yep my money's on a blend door actuator... Couple hours of labor for sure . The part is actually fairly cheap. Been there done that.
