  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am having issues with the 2 inside vents not turning on . The 2 outside vents are fine. If I turn the car off and restart the car, all 4 vents work. This is not isolated incident.

One of the blend doors is likely stuck or needs service.

only happens during the hot summers in Houston. No other time of the year. this would be the third summer.. This year only 3 times in last 3 weeks. Last summer damn near daily. Quick fix turn car off and then restart car. voila!!

I live in Houston too... My center driver's vent occasionally blows hot while the others blow cold with the AC on. Restarting works for me too - mine only does it on occasion though. Outside temp doesn't seem to matter.

Mine just doesn't blow any air. Not happening much this summer.

I never had that but I had the rear throwing hot air with the front on max A/C, found the dial was left on hot. I thought the auto setting was supposed to override that but maybe not, perhaps check the back setting it could be giving weird side effects..

The rear can do that. Those vents can be disabled via the onscreen climate control options. Don't think that they have anything to do with what is going on up front though.

How would one get to the blend door to possibly lubricate it, mine seems to be permanently stuck and the 2 inside vents do not have any airflow. Restrting does not do anything. Or there a fuse I could check for the actuator?
