  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Everyone,

Like everyone else here, I LOVE the new Genesis Coupe. My main concern is driving it in the snow, as it would be my main vehicle, tho my husband drives a Xterra. I always put snow tires on my cars, living in Spokane, Wa, however, I've always driven a manual FWD car. Will I be able to get around if I put snows on the Coupe? It is somewhat low to the ground, is that going to be an issue? And will the RWD be harder to drive?

Thanks for any and all thoughts on this....

I drove a 260Z 27 miles to and from work in Colorado for years while living in the foothills above Loveland. A good set of snow tires were all that I needed.

Drove an 04 GTO through 2 winters in snow belt every day....All season tires...no problems.. Gto was overweight just like the Genny

I live in MN, Sedan not the coupe but the same idea. Snow up to about 6" on the road is ok with a good set of snows all around.

More than 6" and the front end acts like a plow...
