  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am in OHIO and actively looking for a Genesis (if you have come across many posts I have on this forum).

This is the newest offer I got from a local dealer...

Genesis 4.6L Tech Pkg
559.00 mo; 27 months; 2600.00 due at signing plus tax/title and fees, 12k yr.

Is this OK?

You need to tell us the final purchase price that you negotiated. Otherwise it is very hard to tell if you received a good deal or not because the dealer may load in fees if you just negotiate the monthly payment.

I suggest that you always negotiate up from invoice price. Once that is complete then discuss fees that the dealer charges and then determine the monthly payment based on the negotiated price.

The purchase price is $39000

That is a good deal. Enjoy.

I would ask them to make the sales price $38,300 instead of the $39,000

And if they say okay........ BUY

It never hurts to ask, but my local dealers will only go to $38.2K for the v6 which is outrageous and the biggest reason why I am probably going to get a 335i tomorrow.

I have never leased a car personally and probably never will.

Again forget about what the Lease Price is- most important is the Sales Price- since
you can always if needed go to another dealer and tell them what sales price was and
what the total monthly lease payment was- So you can get a better idea if the lease
price your dealer told you- has junk fees compared to another dealer.
