BBQ Bandit
Been here awhile...
Had an unusual situation with the Genesis the other day.
Having bought both CPO Genesis's a few months ago... was getting final documentation/paperwork ironed out.
The first one was a gift to my Wife... therefore transferring all paperwork, title, registration in her name... then it hit me.
Would I unexpectedly invalidate the CPO warranty if I (buyer) transfer all rights/ownership to another (Wife)?
The CPO warranty was a primary reason I drove 100 miles getting it... because she wanted the warranty.
Spent over an hour with Hyundai regarding aspects of the CPO warranty... and was glad to see it smoothed out.
Had to explain the aspects of both cars, VIN numbers, CPO status, our shared last names and street address.
Could have been a sticky situation, however Hyundai saw it in my favor.
Very happy to see Hyundai saw the principle of intent.
