  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Would this work? The GDI engine as far as I'm aware is the same on the coupe as on the sedan. Would the linked supercharger kit work on the sedan? I'm sure it would not be plug and play but could a shop do it? If anyone has experience with doing something like this please comment.

Genesis Coupe 3.8 Supercharger Kit (BK1)

Just a guess, but it may work if the supercharger can be fitted inside the sedan engine bay and if the ecu module is compatible with the sedan engine.

I would call a few import tuning shop in your area that specialize in the Genesis coup engines to get better information. My guess is that it is possible to add the supercharger kit to your 3.8 sedan, but at a very high price it seems since the kit cost $5600 not including labor.
