AA & ACP release

It is May 24 11:33am here.
it is May 25 12:33 is south Korea

So maybe the information came out of Korea yesterday when it was May 24 there and May 23 here.

So who knows when it came out or when it will be available?
 
2:54 PM Eastern time and nothing shows on myhyundai webpage. I don't think this is going to happen today.

OP, do you have more information, like why this isn't available and nothing is mentioned anywhere else except your post? I emailed Hyundai but haven't heard back.
 
I have to stop by my local dealer, I will press for some info

No links, or anything, just that text.

My version is different from yours, I think is because is related to Map version.

Unfortunately that release was sent out in error. Android Auto is currently unavailable for model year 2015 and 2016 Genesis. We do not have a current ETA for when Android Auto will be released for the Genesis line of vehicles and apologize for any frustration our previous communication may have caused.

I have the alert

Like i said in my previous post I have the internal doc from hyundai, tomorrow will be the release for not only us but for older elantra,tucson and santa fe owners

it's dated today and addressed to dealer owners and management


for us genesis owners we will need to pull our SD cards and use that to place the download onto, once done replace, go into setup,system,update


if you go into the dealer they are authorized to charge .4 hours for the update

cars that already have AA will get carplay tomorrow
 
having just gotten my genesis a few days ago, hope this is all correct and will make me even happier :) hope youre right!

just got the notice as well...where am i actually downloading the update from? was expecting a handy link from the message.

I also got the alert but cant find the download.
I assume that this is an update for the car when we find it. Is that correct?
If so, do we use the same Android Auto app that the Sonata uses on our phones?
 
Sounds like it was sent out in error to us, like the email from Hyundai to me said. The phone app is universal, btw.
