  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone! I'm about to take the plunge and am taking delivery of a 2011 4.6 Genesis sedan next Monday. I've lurked here for a little while off and on and have been using this excellent forum as a tool to educate myself on the car.

A big thanks to everyone's posts--there have been many invaluable comments that helped me to solidify and finalize my choice. Look forward to chatting more in the future....

Welcome. Its an awsome car.

same here, best of luck with it. i already put 1500 miles on mine, had it 2 weeks and will drive another 1100 on sunday back to NJ from Florida. everytime i get in it i find another cool thing i like about it. i was just using the "speak" button to change tracks on a CD and use address book through the voice commands. rides great, handles awesome and is getting 19.1 around town here in disney (idling for 15 minutes some times AC on high it's hot right now)

you're going to love it!!

Speak clearly and the voice commands work great for the nav system; so much easier and works without looking at screen.

I'm loving the car so far!

Haven't driven too much yet but looking forward to really putting it thrgh it's paces. Tying to learn all the bells and whistles first though, which is a big task as I'm finding out.
