ABS, ESC, AUTO HOLD, EPB came on today😳

Hello,
I just got a new to me 2010 4.6l. One owner, 75,000 miles. Service every 3k-5k miles. I zeroed the trip before I left the dealership, and last night going home from work, the dash board lit up.
My first thought was that the dealership cleared the codes and I drove enough to reactivate them, but the car has been excellent from a mechanical standpoint. Has anyone seen this before, or have any advice? It seems to all be related to the brakes, so maybe a module or a relay?

Yes it is an issue with the braking system. Could be something simple like a wheel sensor, or it could be the HECU (ABS actuator) unit failing, a common issue in 1st generation Genesis cars. While the ABS, TCS, and ESC will likely not function properly (or at all) in this state, it can get a lot worse. If the HECU unit fails completely, you could lose all braking entirely. Pedal went to the floor in my 2009 when its HECU failed, and I lost braking in one corner when the HECU failed in my 2012.

Best way to diagnose will be to find a mechanic with an advanced scan tool who can read the Hyundai brake system modules directly. Brake system fault codes & sensor data are not stored in the ECU, so you see no CEL; the $15 garden variety OBD2 readers cannot see them.

Well, that makes me feel better and worse. With that knowledge, I am more likely to believe that it was not trickery on the dealer's part. I also know that ABS repair is rarely cheap. I bought the car two hours away from home, so I was not able to take it to my local shop for a PPI. I am off tomorrow and will have it there bright and early in the morning. They are a multi-bay shop that works on all years, makes, and models, so hopefully they will have the right diagnostic tools. If not, I will take it to the dealership in Pensacola, and go from there. I was planning on taking it on a road trip to Birmingham this week, but that is on hold until the issue is diagnosed.

I will take front drivers side wheel bearing/wheel sensor for the win. The part has been ordered and we should be back on the road by Wednesday. Thank you for your help and your guidance!

Westpat, I'm curious about the cost of this repair. I've been through the same situation twice. My cost was in the $800 range if I remember correctly.
