  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

On a recent trip my(2013 3.8 sedan) ACC started to fade several times; resume got it going again. Then a warning light and chime appeared and the ACC shut down. Finally the warning stayed on long enough for me to see the yellow triangle and 'check fuse brake switch'. We continued on and this occurred several times more. The instument panel suddenly gave a great imitation of a Christmas tree as all the warning lights and symbols flasshed on. As I moved to disengage the ACC the car focibly lunged, puhing us
against the seat harnesses. We ccontinued on with no further activity until darkness fell. I turned on the high beams and the Christmas tree reappeared and the clock no longer displayed. No further incidents.
We didn't use the car again until today when we decided to return home. After getting onto the Interstae highway I crossed my fingers and activated the ACC; no problem!! A few hours into the trip the issues returned. The car lurched again three or four times in quick succesion and the high beams turned on. No more cruise the rest of the way home.
So, any one experience any thing like this? Headed for the dealer (extended warranty) on Monday morning. TIA
FORGOT to mention: the ACC no longer worked after the last incident.
