  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My '13 Genesis cruise control has started slowing down as I drive around curves. The speed drops between five and eight mph and then resumes on the straights. Any thoughts? TIA

Do you slow down on curves when you drive without cruise control?
My guess that it is probably ESC.

Depends upon the curve. Probobly right about the ESC. I hate this ACC. It completely fights my driving style. Even the shortest buffer zone is too great. Thanks

You know it can be set to standard cruise right?
1. Turn the Smart Cruise Control
System on (the cruise indicator
light will be on but the system will
not be activated).
2. Push and hold the Vehicle-to-
Vehicle Distance button for more
than 2 seconds.
3. Choose between "Smart Cruise
Control" and "Cruise Control".
When the system is canceled using
the CRUISE button or the CRUISE
button is used after the engine is
turned on, the Smart Cruise Control
will turn on.

As for the buffer zone, tailgating is on you.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was about AOC and wondered what curves she was slowing down on.
