Active Sound Design settings failure

2025 GV80 Advanced trim level. Settings for active sound design range from maximum to off/none. When I choose off as my setting, the effect works until the next time I start the vehicle. The setting reverts to Low/Minimum. Anyone aware of this and how to make off/none the permanent setting?

I know in my G90, there are two different locations to turn off the active sound design. Maybe yours does as well, if so, maybe leaving one on then defaulted to on.

I have a 2025 G80 that does the same thing. Even when I set it to Off, the engine has some kind of whine in the cabin, like a turbo whine when you give it minimal gas. I have tried the other settings and the noise in the cabin doesn't change. Very annoying as I would like it to be quiet.
