  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can someone confirm that some of the later 2009 4.6 genesis with the Tech package did in fact have adaptive cruise control? I have been in discussions with a used car dealer who says the 4.6 with tech he has on his lot does have adaptive cruise control. Is it even possible for a 2009 model to have adaptive cruise control?

I don't believe adaptive cruise appeared as an option until model year 2010. No '09's have adaptive cruise.

As above, plus the easiest way to to determine whether or not the car has smart cruise control, is to look on the steering wheel for the vehicle to vehicle distance buttons located below the cruise control.

Or to look for the black-tinted housing next to the front lower grill. :)
