  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As the family and I are getting ready for our first road trip in the Genesis I've been looking around on how to protect the front end from road debris and the massive infestation of Love Bugs are that common to Florida. Since my Genesis was a lease trade in I can say that the previous owner was not to worried about the front end of his/her Genesis so I was not able to install a clear mask so the only resort that I had available to me was to add a Front End Mask. After looking around I settled on the LeBra 551301-01 in the past I've used front end masks but all have been as a dealer accessory, and since Hyundai does not offer this accessory I was left to turn to the aftermarket. Now I have to say that I'm pleased with the over all fit and construction of the LeBra, here is what a Genesis Sedan looks like with the LeBra installed. I was a bit rushed as it was about the rain so the two sides flanking the grill are just positioned and not properly installed this is to why they look incorrectly or ill fitting. The LeBra does have a nice feature that all the other masks that I have used in the past did not have and that is the mesh over the grills upper and lower.

Would really like to find for the 13 R-Spec - but no one seems to make one yet.

I believe one can be purchased from Autoanything for around $79.00.

Thinking about this myself for an upcoming long road trip.

GRIFF that is about what I paid for mine, and I work perfectly. Since I like to travel at night and into the early morning I'm always shocked at the amount of dead/splattered bugs at are found on the front end when traveling in Florida. When traveling in the early part of May (love bug mating) your front end is completely covered in dead love bugs, this time around all I did was to wash of the Bra with a quick scrub just so I don't put it away covered removed it and the front end of my Genesis was pristine! Perfect no picking off bugs from the paint, no having to use chemicals to removed bugs, and no rushing to them off before they pit the finish of the paint.
