  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Always wanted one of these. Now I can quit racing Mustangs in my Genesis. I will say this though - I will never sell my Genny. After 2 years of ownership I can still say it's one of the best cars if not the best I have ever owned.

Watch out for those Audi RS 7's. ;) My son in laws is a little tweaked. 760hp at the wheels, all four as they are AWD. Over 900 lbs of torque. Does the 1/4 in 10.4 secs. 0-60 must be 3 secs or sub 3 secs. I drove it a few times, scary fast.

Very nice addition by the way, congrats.

Thank you sir. Funny that you mention the Audi - I actually test drove an RS7 and was torn between the two. Great car. In the end though it was too similar to the Genesis I wanted something a little different for the weekends.

lol, I would love for you to try to kill my stang....

Wow, I love this discussion. StangKiller gets a Hellcat (congratulations!). Midnightsun talks about his son in law's modified RS7 in the second post - and Huddleston comes into the third post with a surely modified GT500. THIS is a great discussion. I wish I still had my "fast car". :p I'd have made it real interesting with the fourth post...

Nice! Them Hellcats, would've pulled the trigger on a Charger Hellcat if the dealer didn't dick around.

Change out the tires for something wider and more sticky and you should be able to take Huddleston...haha!

Jk, I have no idea what he's running under there...

My question is... Can the GT500 take that modified RS7?

My question is... Can the GT500 take that modified RS7?

I would venture to say yes. I built the GT500 for runways and highway fun. The 911 is there for the twisty roads.

The hellcat will need much more than new tires to keep up. The GT500 is very far from stock.

Both the hellcat and RS7 are fantastic cars though.

Damn, there are some fast street cars out there...

That is a beautiful GT500. Love those in white.

Thanks. Took the stripes off for a cleaner look. Like my Genesis, I like things simple and clean.

hey huddleston......its no super snake but i can i play with my Ford??? lol

Speaking of HP, rolled out to the LOTO shootout last weekend in the Hustler and saw some amazing boats. Both racing and tied up.

Super Snake?

no - but with the modifications it makes 740 at the rear wheels, so factoring in 25% parasitic loss its right at 925 flywheel hp.

damn 740 to the wheels is nice...i cant imagine you can launch that thing right without some good slicks on some good roads lol. But 25% loss is a bit high dont you think...i normally just go with 15% max.

By the way how much money you dump in that thing? and you got any problems? I sold my 335i with some mods but everything stock on my engine and was putting down 450hp and 500tq to the wheels. a simple upgraded turbo for $4000 with a couple add ons for the power and I would have been at 600hp with a tune.

Deciding whether to go with that or maybe something american this time around...what you think?

The modified rs7 is 760 at the wheels and over 900 lbs of torque so we are talking similar hp however the AWD does have some major advantage on launch. ;) Let's just say it is fast enough. :D

Anything in the ten second range is "fast enough" as far as I'm concerned. :)
