Adding a sub to Lexicon factory system

Bet that sounds phenomenal. What's the first song you put on to take it through its paces? Whip It?

Haha, no. For overall sound, I played Black Cow by Steely Dan. Cleanliness of sub was tested in the new setup. Then I wanted to see what it did in my G70, so I played DNA by Kendrick Lamar. The factory speakers in this car are good. I actually don't have the itch to rip out the system, which is a first. Saved me a cool grand or more. I had Hertz audio components in the front and rear of my 2003 Monte Carlo. Running off of 2 Alpine PDX amps.

I’ve installed an external 12” sub in the trunk of my g70 .. hooked with an 500w amplifier .. it just completes the sound and doesn’t sound too strong

Did you have the shop install the amp for you, i heard its a hasttle getting things to work with the factory AMP... something about damaging the factory amp if installing a different one, can u confirm? Would you mind sharing how you did it if you did it yourself? I just want to add the AMP for better Sound quality, imp not looking for more bass... Also what amp did you use? I imagine I wont need a powerful one like yours since imp not getting a SUB...
