  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I checked all the threads before posting this. It seems to be the general consensus on this board that one can not download his/her phonebook/contacts automatically. Interestingly, I just went here http://www.hyundaiusa.com/BlueTooth/ and a green check mark was placed next to auto phonebook download. Maybe it's me but this seems to say that I should be able to download my phonebook without having to do it number by number.

I have a 2010 V-6 with Premium and Nav packages. I can sync my hero but no contacts show up even though it seems like they are downloading. Any help is greatly appreciated as I don't relish manually storing all my #'s.

Thanks in advance!

it seems to depend on the phone. My Samsung synchs up such that all my contacts are accessible via the voice dial. With the Pantech I had previously, nothing.

My HTC Hero syncs fine. I can receive calls via bluetooth ok but have not yet tried to make calls. I suspect I can do this but really my issue is the download of my phonebook.

I just don't understand why it clearly states on the Hyundai website that my phone can download phonebooks and I can't get it done.

Just traded in my 2009 Genny (would not load phonebook) for a 2011 Genny.
Phonebook loads in minutes! Can use voice or the icon on the screen!
