  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Guys... This is my first post... been following the Genesis ever since I first saw it at the NAIAS in Detroit earlier in the year. Anyway, I saw the first advertised special in my local paper yesterday (Omaha, Nebraska). Here are the advertised details: 24 month lease, 12K miles per year, $2000 down plus first payment due a signing, 0 security deposit, rebate applied for $369 / month. Offer ends 9/2. I stopped by today and found the car on the lot and it is the base model ($33K).

I'm in no hurry, but am looking to replace my Saab mainly cause I need more room for the kids. Forums like this definately give one a leg up in the research and buying process!

Welcome aboard, Vlad! And thank you for signing up. Did you have a specific question about leases? Or was this more or less an FYI post?

Thanks again! :)

Thanks for the welcome... no specific questions at this time... Just trying to add some value for others looking to buy sooner then myself. As for me I'm just learning as much so I can to make an informed purchase at some point. I'm sure once I get ready to "pull the trigger" I'll have some more quesitons for the group. As they say... knowlege is power!
