I'll keep checking on it. Sometimes it sucks to live in California. Then again, they hassle you for fog lights and radar detectors in Virginia. They don't really give a damn about those here.

I'd be willing to purchase and ship it to you in CA if you reimburse me.

A few HP isn't going to be noticeable with the butt dyno, but many of us buy these strictly for the hope of increased throttle response and sound. I'm pretty stoked.

I'm interested possibly, depending on how much it would cost to ship from your house to mine. If it increases the price substantially, I can always wait until they get an actual CARB number.

If something breaks directly due to the intake (or tangentially due to it, in the view of Hyundai), you're paying for it. If something breaks that has nothing at all to do with the intake (say, sunroof), you're covered.

^ Yup. Be prepared to take it off and put your stock airbox back in if you ever have engine problems.

I just tried to order this from AEM but was unsuccessful. The intake is still awaiting a CARB number so isn't legal for sale or use in California. I tried to order it online but the system recognized it would be shipping to CA and wouldn't let me proceed.

Just ordered online using credit card and delivery address in CA and AEM took my order! Dunno know if Monday someone would send out a failed order email???

Good point to throw out there; keep all of those OEM parts and be prepared to reverse the installation. It was very easy to put in, I'm sure getting it back to stock will be easy too.

Forget it. They cancelled the order this morning as I suspected. On the plus side, my wife did approve this mod (odd). Yep, I am reduced to seeking permissions first! LOL

I will get mine don't you worry! Her sister lives in LV and visits regularly. I'll ask her to buy it and bring it. Her next trip to CA is in 4 weeks instead of the regular 2 weeks. Rloyola, PM me if you'd like to get in. Not sure I can PM yet as a noob on the forum.
