  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Second Generation Aftermarket wheels - Genesis 3.8 AWD

Here is a link to my thread when I got new wheels and lowered my car. The beginning of the thread is my first set of springs. A couple pages down are pictures of when I got my current, more aggressively lowered springs. Dareck is on my first set. I'd rather post the link than post the same pictures that everyone has already seen since I have no new pics.

Actually I've got your original first set, Dareck got another set later on :-).

Using willtheyfit.com, it tells me that the new staggered wheel setup using the 19" Equus wheels will result in the following "poke" values:

Front: Poke out 5mm more
Rear: Poke out 12.7mm more

I am not sure if these numbers are acceptable.

Please let me know.

Thanks

You'll be alright. The new wheels won't stick out nor rub the fenders.

I have a AWD as well. just curious if there are any issues caused to the hTrac system by slightly changing the overall diameter of the tires when moving to 20's? I would assume everything is fine as long as all four corners are the same diameter.
