  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all,

Sunday had a dead battery. Took it to Goodyear to get a new battery, new front brake pads and an oil change.
go to pick it up Monday but got a call that they snapped a bolt replacing the brake pads. So on Tuesday it was ready to be picked up. Started the car and the AC made a hiss noise before the air started blowing as normal. I called and took it back and they said it’s possible that they checked the cabin air filter and it didn’t get put back in properly. Okay sure. So I brought it back they said that wasn’t the case with the filter and it could be the actuator. (Tried to charge me $45 for the filter that I never asked for). Lol.

I’m not sure if they did anything to cause this noise, or something with the new battery. I don’t know how to post a video here. If I figure it out I will. But any feedback on what the hissing noise could be would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Zack
