To help you guys who live in cold climates, a couple days ago, I posted that I used the A/C on an 80F day, (set on Auto) and it is one of the best A/C's that I've seen. (Hope it still does the job when the temperatures are up in the mid 90's.)
A few days ago, I also pressed the Recirculate button and when the light on that button comes on, the light on the Auto button goes off.
Well today, the temperatur got up to 85F and on my way home, in rush hour traffic, (strange smells and all) I pushed the Air Quality System button, saying to myself, "I wonder what this button with the 'A' and the circle of arrows does"? Surprise surprise. the "A" button light comes on, the Auto button light stays on, and the biggest surprise is the Reculate button comes on and off, as needed. Thats great. When the system sees that reculation is needed, the reculate comes on. When not needed, the reculation goes off.
The guys that designed the system did a great job.
I wonder if the air going through the filter located behind the glovebox is only when the Air Quality System is on, or if air always goes through that filter.
BTW, per the 85F we had in Central Florida today, I talked with my best friend in Roswell who told me that it was only 17F when he got up. Brrrrrrrr.
