Air suspension switch intermittent?

I rarely use the air suspension height switch, but recently had occasion to do so when I needed to park in a less than pristine area. I was making a hard left turn before proceeding onto the side of the road and clicking the switch did nothing.

After parking there awhile, upon restart, the switch worked normally.

This has happened a few times before, and I am wondering if this is an issue I should have my dealer look at next week, or if the system won't switch on under certain conditions.

Any other owners experience this issue?

Closer inspection of the owner manual says that air suspension will not engage if car is in drive or reverse and at a stop.....therefore, the car must be shifted into neutral to engage the switch.
