  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone experienced the airbag light staying on? Mine started doing this today. The dealer stated that it's the clockspring which has been ordered.

I've read where some owners noted loose wiring/connection under the passenger seat, but wasn't clear if that really resolved the issue.

If anyone has had this issue and gotten it resolved, please share how it was fixed.

Thank you in advance!

Diagnosing any airbag fault by guessing has 1/300 chances of success. You're much better off believing the guy with the Hyundai VCI.

Ours came on shortly after coming out of the body shop ( minor front end damage ,parking lot crash) took her in and was told it was a loose wire.
A week or so ago wife said it was back on but on starting her up the next day I looked and it wasn’t on, will keep an eye on it.lol
