Which light? If it is the one for the passenger seat, did you put anything on the seat? Does not take much to set that off.Hello, my tpms came on and so did the airbag light. I adjusted the tire pressure and the warning turned off. But the airbag light is still on.
No Sir, I did have my coffee mug laying in the passenger seat earlier.Which light? If it is the one for the passenger seat, did you put anything on the seat? Does not take much to set that off.
Once removed, that should allow reset unless the sensor is defective or needs calibration. No idea how to do it.No Sir, I did have my coffee mug laying in the passenger seat earlier.
Okay, thank you muchOnce removed, that should allow reset unless the sensor is defective or needs calibration. No idea how to do it.
The indicator light that is staying on is the supplemental restraint system. I told you wrong, sorry about that.Okay, thank you much
Thank you so much, I will give it a look. This may be unrelated, but I actually had this issue from time to time with the Airbag light not turning off in the dash.
My dealer scanned the code and mentioned this might have to do with the amount of the voltage coming from the battery impacting the Active Seatbelt Restraint system (we had a 5 year old battery at this stage). Basically if the voltage falls below a certain level, the airbag light comes on and the error code was regarding the seatbelt pre-tensioners.
If you have the ability to check your voltage I would start there. While most likely not 100% accurate, I used this car USB charger to check the voltage and sure enough, it was running under 12V in most cases (jumping to 13 when the car was running). I replaced the battery and haven't seen the dash light come up ever since and its showing a healthy 14+ Volts while running. If you happen to have a battery tender, you can also charge the battery up and see if it fixes the error light. The one I've used with my 2015 Genesis 3.8 can be found at this link.
Other members of the forum mentioned it was a loose connection under the passenger seat as well that caused the airbag light to come up.
I'm having the same issue with the airbag light on the dash remaining on. I just got my '16 Ultimate a little over a month ago, which the dealer "fixed" a harness. However, the light is back. I'll check the battery. This may be unrelated, but I actually had this issue from time to time with the Airbag light not turning off in the dash.

As a quick update, its almost been a year since I replaced my original battery, the voltage remains healthy every time the car is turned on, and the Airbag light has not come up once. I hope you can fix this since I know how annoying that light can be!I'm having the same issue with the airbag light on the dash remaining on.
