Airtouch Video Interface

Credit to @Slip_Angle for finding the video to inspire my inquiry. I filled out the contact form for info on getting this for the G70 and surprisingly got a prompt response. I am definitely interested but won't be able to afford it right now but some of you might!

What exactly is it and it’s overall purpose?

Aside from watching the video, it allows you to basically use your factory software if you want or you can switch over to the airtouch software by holding a button on your steering wheel or the main controls and access the airtouch software (currently running android 9) and you basically have a mobile tablet in your car. Cant say the workaround for internet connection but I have to imagine the device you install connects to your phone. Looks really cool, though realistically probably wouldn't take advantage of all its uses but could be cool for long trips for your passengers. Imagine watching an action movie with the lexicon system!

@Riouxgrande- thanks for the explanation. Looks like it only operates off of the android system so I won’t be getting it. It looks amazing though and worth the price of admission.

Thanks @Riouxgrande. It definitely looks amazing, especially on G70 screen. I can imagine How it would look on the current and newest G80 screen. I have an iPhone so I guess I’ll wait until it’s available on the IOS system.

Your phone doesn't have anything to do with it. The software they use is running on android 9

For reference, shipping to Charleston, SC is 65 bucks, and they recommend professional installation by and Hyundai/kia operation (though I don't think taking to dealer to install would be the move). I'm sure @Toddasaurus could figure it out lol

I notice that at ~1:09 of that video the subject car has a button to the right of the voice control on the left of steering wheel that has a circle symbol, like the "replay" on a video. My car has Mode at that button position. The other buttons appear similar to mine. Is that a change from the original car? The end of the video shows the operator pressing the hang-up phone button to end screen function. That has logic. I am uncertain if different markets have different button logos.

What if you tell them that you need the installation instructions to see if your installer can do it?
