alarm goes off shortly after arming

had an acct and couldn't figure how to resurrect the old act. may look like a new acct
anyway, 2010 couple 2.0T manual
after 5-10 minutes factory alarm goes off beep beep beep
no aftermarket accessories
the pass handle/button does not work. perhaps its interfering with the circuit
any help would be appreciated...

That is the answer to your question. It is the passenger side door trigger. I would take it to dealer OR go to a car audio shop and have them check the trigger OR eliminate our pathetic alarms and install an aftermarket one. Prob solved.
