  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is Genesis even shipping cars anymore to the dealers?

I get it now, this really sucks for the brand and they should have planned it very well. No approved dealers in Colorado.
They did plan but it was not a good one. Plan B is taking forever to implement and cause some lawsuits. They thought it would work, when it didn't it took a lot of time to fix.

I stopped in about a month ago @ a Spokane Washington Hyundai former Genesis Dealer that had just been purchased by new Canadian Owners.
There is no longer a Genesis Dealer in Eastern Washington State & if you want to buy one you now have to go to Seattle a 4 hour drive west. That must really help sales. Boy did Hyundai/Genesis really screw there marketing up in the U.S.A.

Glad Alex did that video b/c saw so many misleading articles (by so-called automotive journalists) which made the lazy, uninformed assumption.

That being said, what's even more troubling is the info. that Genesis USA didn't create a separate company to import/sales distribution at the start (that should have been the very 1st step).

Previously, thought it had been the lawsuits and dealer rebellion which caused Genesis to drop their initial 100 dealership plan, but clearly, they had zero clue in what they were doing.

And (notwithstanding any lawsuits), the largest markets (CA, FL, TX, etc.) should have the 1st states to have the paperwork rolling when it came to clearing state regulatory hurdles.

All of this should have been started in 2016, or early 2017 at the latest (and even that would not give any time leeway for any issues that may arise).

Like I had stated, wouldn't be surprised if we see a change down the road when it comes to the top brass at Genesis USA.

Yes you did state that but you weren’t very specific as to in what timeframe. If one waits long enough your statement will almost guaranteed to be true.
