  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Alignment Problem

The big thing I learned is if you have a perfect alignment it may not solve the problem if the frame is not in perfect alignment. This mechanic was really good and knew what to do before doing an alignment. Once all the frame components were in line, then did a wheel alignment.
Today i took in on a 350 mile trip. Gotta tell you, the Genny drove like a dream. These cars are fantastic if everything is in proper order.

I might point out that as soon as it was explained to him he did a quick test by putting his fingers between the front tires and the fender. He then said AhHa! your cradle is not aligned properly and then went to work.

Competence rules!

^ yes Competence, curiosity, sweating the details, striving for excellence, rule... planned ignorance, lack of initiative, laziness, lack of respect for others expectations, drool.....

Your tech is a great engineer. And thank you for passing on the discoveries.
