Amber DRL burn out issue

Hey All!
Ives seen a thread a while back about the common issue of the DRL/Turn signal light burn out on the 2015 G80's. (Not the canadian versions) So far, I haven't found anyone that has found a successful resolution to it....or a different bulb that could be used rather than the normal one. (without modifying the wiring with a balancer for an LED.) Has anyone run across something that will work other in the stock design? Or have we all just given up to replacing the bulbs every three months or so?

I almost never use my DRLs, and I'm still on the original bulbs from when I bought the car new in 2015 (knock on the fake wood-like particle board of my desk). You could try a long-life bulb, but I don't know how much of a difference it would make.

According to the thread linked below, there is also a known issue with the wiring harness that can cause the bulbs to burn out quickly. You're probably not still under warranty, but it might be worth checking out.
