Android Auto issues

Currently connecting my android phone using a USB lead. Having issues where it won't connect however the phone is being charged by the cable. Issue is intermittent. Now the system is lagging..by that I mean any input is not instant but can take a few seconds for the system to react. More bizarre is when using my phone for navigation is it can fall about 1km behind due to the lag in the system. Most annoying if driving around town. Anyone had a similar experience?

I was not aware a wireless connection update had been released.

Genesis nor the dealer has been able to figure out how to add it to my car. SMH at the inability

Android Auto is now wireless, it automatically connects after latest updates.

Tim, I've got a 2023 and I've noticed the same issue after I had it in for service last week and a couple of recall items. 1 being the update to the Infotainment system for the issue with Genesis Services. I've noticed it on both wired and wireless

Any update on your issue?

I've noticed the same thing. Happens in google Maps, YouTube Music, Waze, etc. Rather frustrating.

Not sure if you have fixed your problem. I bought the Motorola AA adapter (on sale around $40--ck Google shopping) before the wireless AA was up. I still use it as I have never had any problems connecting my Galaxy S24 with it. I did buy a top notch data cable (short, like 6", and red so I can easily see it). 2021 GV80 base, original 2020 Korean SW release.
